Strange Free World was released in 1991.  The Kitchens Of Distinction’s album featured one of their best hits “Drive That Fast.” You can hear a bit of the end of an era’s (80’s) sound, while at the same time the new shoe-gaze style of music. It is at times reminiscent of the The Cure or New Order, while at the same time similar to My Bloody Valentine, who also released their monumental album, Loveless, in 1991.
